Welcome to Quoli β€” your all-in-one product reviews and UGC platform for Shopify. This guide walks you through the essential setup steps so you can start collecting and displaying reviews in minutes.

Before you start

  • Quoli is installed on your Shopify store.

  • You have access to your Shopify Theme Editor (Online Store β†’ Themes β†’ Customize).

Step 1: Enable the Quoli Core Script

The core script powers all Quoli widgets, forms, and tracking across your storefront.

  1. In Shopify Admin, go to Online Store β†’ Themes β†’ Customize.

  2. Open App embeds (bottom-left sidebar).

  3. Toggle on Quoli Core Script.

  4. Click Save.

⚠️ Heads up: If you switch themes, you'll need to re-enable the Quoli Core Script in the new theme's App embeds.

Step 2: Set up automated review requests

Start collecting reviews on autopilot by sending post-purchase emails.

  1. Open Quoli β†’ Collect Reviews β†’ Collect & publish on autopilot.

  2. Toggle on Enable review request emails.

  3. Choose your trigger: Purchase, Fulfillment, or Delivery.

  4. Set the delay (e.g., 7 days after delivery).

  5. Customize your email subject and content.

  6. Click Save.

Step 3: Add star ratings to product pages

Star ratings give shoppers instant trust signals when browsing your catalog.

  1. Go to Online Store β†’ Themes β†’ Customize.

  2. Navigate to a Product page template.

  3. Click Add block and search for Quoli Product Star Ratings.

  4. Position the block under the product title or near the price.

  5. Click Save.

Step 4: Add the product reviews widget

Display detailed customer reviews on your product pages where buying decisions happen.

  1. In the Theme Editor, open a Product page template.

  2. Click Add section or Add block and search for Quoli Product Reviews.

  3. Position the widget below your product details.

  4. Customize layout, colors, and heading in the widget settings.

  5. Click Save.

Step 5: Activate Quoli Pixel tracking

Track how reviews drive engagement and revenue across your store.

  • Click Activate pixel automatically on the dashboard banner, or

  • Enable the Quoli pixel from Shopify's Customer events settings.

Once active, your Analytics dashboard will show widget impressions, clicks, add-to-carts, and revenue attributed to Quoli.

Optional: Import existing reviews

Switching from another reviews app? Bring your existing reviews into Quoli so you don't start from zero.

  1. Go to Quoli β†’ Import/Export β†’ Import Reviews.

  2. Choose your source: CSV upload or direct migration from Judge.me, Yotpo, Loox, Stamped, Okendo, and more.

  3. Map your products and verify the import.

Customize your branding

Make Quoli look and feel like a natural part of your store:

  • Upload your logo β€” Appears in review emails and the collection form.

  • Set brand colors β€” Match star ratings, buttons, and accents to your theme.

  • Choose rating icons β€” Stars, hearts, or custom shapes.

Go to Quoli β†’ Settings β†’ Branding to configure these.
