When your reviews or a widget don't show on your store, it almost always comes down to one of six things. Check them in this order, and the first one that fails is your fix.

1. Is the Quoli Core Script on?
➀ Activate app embed. Opens your theme editor at App embeds with Quoli Core Script switched on. Click Save there.
Without the Core Script, some reviews may still show, but Write a review and Ask a question don't open, and your Brand colors and fonts don't apply. Collection Ratings, the All Reviews Page and widgets added with code don't load at all. Settings ▸ Widgets shows this banner while it's off, and the setup guide on Home starts with the same step.
2. Is the widget in your live theme?
➀ Status. Active when the widget is in your live theme, Inactive when it isn't. Manual setup means it's added with code, which Quoli can't check, and Couldn't check means your theme couldn't be read just then.
➁ Add to theme. Opens your theme editor on the right page with the widget added. Move it into place and click Save.
Quoli reads your published theme only. A widget you added to a theme you haven't published yet shows Inactive until that theme goes live. A status can take up to 10 minutes to change after you save in the theme editor.
3. Is it on the right page?
Product Star Ratings, PDP Reviews Widget, Grid Reviews Widget, Nuggets Slider. Where it goes: Your product page template.
All Reviews Page. Where it goes: A page template, linked from your menu.
Popup Widget, Reviews Sidebar. Where it goes: App embeds, switched on for every page.
Collection Ratings. Where it goes: Your theme's product card, with code.
A block shows only on the template it's in. If some products use a different product template, add the widget to that template too.
4. Does it have anything to show?
Most widgets stay hidden until there's something to show, so a new product can look like a missing widget.
PDP Reviews Widget, Grid Reviews Widget. With no reviews: Always show: "Be the first to review this product" and the Write a review button.
Product Star Ratings. With no reviews: Shows Write a review, unless Show when product has no reviews is off.
Home Carousel. With no reviews: Hidden until reviews reach its Minimum rating, 4 stars and up by default, or until you feature some when it shows Featured.
Popup Widget. With no reviews: Hidden until reviews reach its minimum rating, 3 stars and up by default, and only on the pages you switched on.
Nuggets Slider. With no reviews: Hidden until the product has published nuggets.
Cart Reviews. With no reviews: Hidden unless the cart's products have reviews, or Show other reviews if cart items have none is on.
Collection Ratings, Rating Badge, Trust Bar. With no reviews: Hidden: there's no empty "0 reviews".
Reviews waiting in Reviews don't count until you publish them.
5. Is it on your plan?
The Nuggets Slider and the "What shoppers say" summary need Growth and up. On other plans they show nothing. Every other widget works on every plan. See Plans and what each one includes.
6. Is it only in the theme editor?
The theme editor shows sample reviews with a Preview tag, so you can place and style a widget before you have reviews. Your live store shows only your real reviews, so a widget can look full in the editor and be hidden on the store, as in step 4.
💡 Tip: After a change, or a review you just published, wait a minute and reload the product page itself, not the theme editor. Quoli keeps widget content for up to a minute so pages load fast.
