After every order, Quoli emails your customer to ask for a review, at the moment you choose. If they don't answer, it sends one reminder. Once their review is in, it can ask for a photo or video too. You set the timing once, and every order follows it. It's the surest way to get more reviews.
Where: Settings ▸ Collect & publish ▸ Review requests
Default: 7 days after fulfillment, with a reminder 2 days later
Allowance: A monthly number of requests on each plan
Plans: Every plan
The request settings
➀ Start after. The order event that starts the clock.
➁ First request. How many days after that event the first email goes out.
➂ Reminder. How many days after the first request to remind, if no review has come in.
➃ Photo request. How many days after a review without a photo or video to ask for one.
➄ Products left out. Products that never get a request.
➅ One request per package. Off by default. On, an order shipped in more than one package gets a request per package, with After fulfillment or After delivery.
➆ Timing per delivery method. Off by default. On, local pickup and local delivery orders get their own timing.
➇ Edit email. Opens that email in the editor, with a live preview.
Changes wait behind the save bar until you click Save, and apply to every order that hasn't had its request yet.
When requests go out
Start after. After purchase, After fulfillment, After delivery, or Don't collect orders. Default: After fulfillment.
First request. Immediately, or 1 to 30 days later, or Don't send automatically. Default: 7 days later.
Reminder. Never, or 1 to 21 days after the first request. Default: 2 days later.
Photo request. Never, or 1 to 21 days after the review. Default: Never.
The days count from the event you picked: when the order was placed for After purchase, when its last item shipped for After fulfillment, and when it arrived for After delivery. Edits to an order later on, like a tag or a note, don't move its request. Quoli checks for requests that are due every hour, and for reminders and photo requests every few hours, so each email goes out on its day; Immediately goes out within the hour.
After delivery
To send review requests after delivery, set Start after to After delivery. The clock then starts when the carrier tracking on the order says it was delivered, or when AfterShip or a delivery app in Flow does. An order that's never marked delivered is asked 30 days after it was fully fulfilled. A sale handed over at your point of sale counts as delivered at the counter. Delivery timing reaches customers once the product is in their hands, which brings better reviews.
Orders shipped in more than one package
With One request per package On, when an order goes out in several packages, each package gets its own request: the First request days after that package ships, or after it arrives with After delivery, asking only about the products in it. Products the customer has already reviewed from the order, and your products left out, are never asked about again, and each package gets its own reminder. A package's request waits for that package, so the first products in the box don't wait for the last ones.
It's Off by default: an order is asked about in one email once it's fully shipped. Set One request per package to On for a request per package. The order counts once toward your plan's review requests, however many packages it ships in.
Local pickup and local delivery
With Timing per delivery method, local pickup and local delivery orders get their own timing, and shipped orders keep the First request above. A pickup can count from when it's ready for pickup or from when it's picked up, and a local delivery from when it's delivered, each with its own days. A local delivery that's never marked delivered is asked 30 days after it goes out.
Set Timing per delivery method to On. To tell those orders apart, Quoli needs one more permission from your store. Stores that install Quoli now approve it at install. If yours installed Quoli earlier, Grant access appears under the setting: approve it on the screen that opens, and you're brought back with the setting On, ready to save. Only your store is asked, and only when you choose to; until then every order follows the First request above.
Who gets a request
Every order with a customer email, placed in the last 60 days, gets one request, sent to the email on the order. An order with several products asks about each of them in the same email. An order is never asked twice, even when you also send requests by hand or from Flow.
Orders without an email. There's no one to send it to. They read Can't send in Review requests, as do blocklisted and unsubscribed customers.
Refunded or voided orders. The customer kept nothing to review.
Products you left out. Settings ▸ Collect & publish ▸ Products left out. They're never in a request, automatic, manual or from Flow, and the review page leaves them out.
Addresses on your blocklist. Settings ▸ Emails ▸ Email blocklist, for wholesale buyers, test accounts or anyone who asked not to be emailed.
Customers who unsubscribed. Every email has an Unsubscribe link, and Quoli honors it.
Orders older than 60 days. A request that late rarely brings a review, and it keeps a backlog from going out all at once after a pause.
None of these use up your allowance.
The emails
The review request shows the product, five stars to tap and a Write your review button, in your brand colors and the email language set in Settings ▸ Emails. When you reward reviews, a line says what they can earn.
Review request. Sent: On the First request day.
Review request reminder. Sent: On the Reminder day, only if no review has come in.
Photo and video request. Sent: On the Photo request day, after a published review without a photo or video. The button adds media to that review.
A tap on a star or the button opens the review form on a page in your brand colors. Edit your emails covers the subject, text and preview. Rewards are given when a review is first written, so the photo request doesn't promise one.
Pause or stop requests
Keep collecting orders but send nothing on your own. Set: First request ▸ Don't send automatically. You can still send requests by hand from Reviews ▸ Review requests.
Stop collecting orders altogether. Set: Start after ▸ Don't collect orders.
Stop the reminder or the photo request. Set: Set it to Never.
Turn one email off. Set: Edit email ▸ Send this email off.
Requests also stop by themselves when you reach your plan's monthly allowance, until your next billing period or an upgrade. Orders placed in the meantime aren't asked, though they're still saved, so your analytics counts them. Plans and what each one includes lists each plan's allowance.
Check it's working
Open View review requests in the title bar of Collect & publish. Each order shows where its request is: Scheduled with its day, Waiting for fulfillment, Sent, Reminder sent or Reviewed. Track review requests explains every status.
💡 Tip: The best time to send a review request is once the product has had time to work. Seven days after fulfillment suits most products, and the reminder brings in many of the reviews that the first email doesn't.
