Collect photo and video reviews

Turn on media uploads, ask at the right moment, and reward the effort.

A photo review does the work of ten text reviews. Shoppers trust real customer media more than studio shots, and every upload feeds your galleries, carousels, nuggets, and UGC ads. Here is how to collect more of it.

Turn on media uploads

  1. Open Settings, then Review form.

  2. Enable Photo upload. Customers can attach PNG, JPG, or HEIC images.

  3. Enable Video upload for MP4, MOV, and WebM clips. Available on Starter and up.

  4. Consider Require a photo on 5-star reviews. Your happiest customers are the most willing to show the product off.

The form shows size limits next to each upload, so customers know what fits before they pick a file.

Ask at the right moment

Many customers write a text review first and add media only when nudged. In Settings, then Collect & publish, set Request media after so Quoli follows up on text reviews with a friendly ask for a photo or video. The photo and video request email handles the wording, and you can edit it in the email library.

Reward the effort

Media takes more work than typing, so pay for it. With discounts set to "Different per review type", you can offer more for a photo than for text, and the most for video. The discount email arrives automatically once the review qualifies.

Where your media shows up

  • The gallery and review cards on your PDP Reviews Widget.

  • Media-led widgets like the home carousel styles, sidebar, and popup.

  • Nuggets, the short highlight snippets you place near add to cart.

  • UGC Ads Studio, where one good photo review becomes ad creative.

šŸ’” Tip: The combination that fills galleries fastest: media follow-up on, photo required on 5 stars, and a discount ladder where video earns the most.
