Grid Reviews Widget

A masonry wall of photo, video, and text reviews with a rating summary on top.

The Grid Reviews Widget turns your reviews into a visual wall. A rating summary sits on top, and below it a masonry grid mixes photo, video, and text reviews with no awkward empty space. It is the right pick when your strength is volume and media, and it works beautifully as an alternative or companion to the stacked PDP widget.

Add it

  1. Open Settings, then Widgets.

  2. Pick Grid Reviews Widget.

  3. Click Open in theme editor. It lands as its own section below your product details.

  4. Save the theme.

How it behaves

The average rating always shows at the top. Turn on Show rating distribution and shoppers also get the star breakdown bars, and the bars are clickable, so one tap filters the grid to 5-star or 3-star reviews. Media displays uncropped with the caption below, every card carries the review title and body in full, and a Show more control paginates long lists. Tapping any card opens the shared review detail view with the complete review and media.

Tune it

  • Layout. Section heading, 2 to 4 columns, and how many reviews to show.

  • Reviews. Show everything or only reviews with photo or video, set a minimum rating, and pick the sort: most recent, top reviews, highest rated, or media first.

  • Cards. Toggles for stars, reviewer name, verified badge, and date.

  • Style. Accent, star, and text colors, card background and border, and spacing.

šŸ’” Tip: Three columns with around twenty reviews is the sweet spot on desktop, and the grid restacks itself on mobile. If your media is strong, set "Show" to photo and video reviews only and let the text reviews live in the PDP widget instead.
