Every email shoppers get can say things your way. The editor shows your changes on the real email as you type, with your products and your brand, and sends you a test before a shopper ever sees it.
Where: Settings ▸ Emails ▸ Edit template on any shopper email
You can change: The subject, the preview text, the message and the logo
Plans: Every plan
The editor
➀ Send this email. Turns the email on or off. For an email switched on elsewhere, such as the reminder, this shows its status and a button to that tab.
➁ Subject. The subject line in the inbox.
➂ Preview text. The line inboxes show after the subject. Up to 150 characters show.
➃ Body. Your message, above the stars and the button.
➄ Show logo at the top. Your logo from Settings ▸ Brand. Colors come from there too.
➅ Preview views. Desktop or Mobile, and Light or Dark, as shoppers' email apps show it. The confirmation email can also show each star rating.
➆ Live preview. The email as it goes out, with a sample shopper, Alex Morgan, and your products. It updates as you type.
Some emails have fewer fields: Reply notification has a subject and preview text only, and Question answered has an optional note in place of the body. Click Save to keep your changes. Cancel or closing the popup drops them.
Fill in each shopper's details
{{First_name}}. The shopper's first name.{{Last_name}}. Their last name.{{Customer_name}}. Their full name.{{Product_name}}. The product they bought or reviewed.{{Store_name}}. Your store's name.
When a detail is missing, such as a shopper without a first name, the variable and its comma drop out, so the line still reads well. Capitals and underscores don't matter: {{FIRST_NAME}} and {{firstname}} work too.
Quoli's own lines also use {{value}}, {{days}} and {{date}} for the reward, the days left and when a code expires. Those fill in only in Quoli's wording: in a line you write yourself, the editor flags them so they don't go out as typed.
Leave the subject or preview text empty to go back to Quoli's line, which also changes with your rewards and code expiry. An empty body sends Quoli's message. Quoli's own wording is translated into your email language, in any of the 19; your own words go out as you write them, apart from discount amounts.
Discount amounts follow your rewards
Write an amount in your own words, like "Use the code below to get 10% off your next order", and the email always states the reward the shopper gets from Settings ▸ Discounts. When your rewards change, your wording doesn't need to.
Photo and video discount and Media discount reminder state the amount of the shopper's own code.
Review request, Review request reminder and Photo and video request state the reward for the kind of review the sentence mentions: a video, a photo, either one, or any review. "Get 10% off, or 20% with a video" goes out with your text and video rewards.
A reward you don't offer isn't promised: a sentence about one, such as a discount for text reviews when only photos and videos earn one, is left out of the email.
Other offers stay as you wrote them, such as "20% off sitewide with code SALE20".
Quoli spots an amount by the words beside it, like off, discount or save. The live preview and tests show the amounts filled in; there the two discount emails show what a review with a photo and a video earns, since each real code carries its own amount.
Send yourself a test
➀ Email. Which email to send. Send test in the editor sends the email as you're editing it.
➁ Recipients. Up to 5 addresses, separated by commas. Your email to start.
➂ Tests sent. Up to 5 tests every 10 minutes, a minute apart. The button counts down until the next one.
➃ The email. What you're about to send.
A test goes out from your real sender, with the sample shopper's details and the sample code QUO-SAMPLES. In a test review request, each product's button opens that product's real review form, so you can try the whole path. A review you send from it is a real review on that product, not verified, and goes through your publishing rules like any other, so archive it when you're done.
💡 Tip: Put the product in the subject. "Alex, how's your Hydra Glow Moisturizer holding up?" gets opened more than "Leave us a review", because it's about them, not you.
