Ask for a review brings review requests to your counter. After each in-store sale, the receipt screen shows a QR code with your logo. The customer scans it with their phone and reviews what they just bought, with their order's products ready on the page. Staff can also email the review request right away.
Where: The receipt screen after a sale, and its action menu
Turn it on: Point of Sale ▸ Edit Point of Sale ▸ Apps ▸ Quoli
Plans: Every plan; an emailed request counts toward your monthly review requests
Turn it on
In Quoli, go to Settings ▸ Widgets and click Add to POS on Ask for a review. The Point of Sale editor opens on its apps.
Find Quoli and click Ask for a review to turn it on.
It then shows after every sale, at every location. Staff need to be signed in to POS with their staff account.
Scan to review
The receipt screen shows the QR code with your logo, or your store's initials on your brand color when you haven't added a logo (Settings ▸ Brand). The customer points their phone camera at it and lands on your review form with every product from the sale, their name and email already filled in when the sale has them. Email or enlarge opens a larger code.
Email it instead
From Email or enlarge, or Ask for a review in the action menu:
When the sale has the customer's email, Email the review request sends it there now.
When it doesn't, staff type the email the customer gives at the counter. It's saved to the sale, so the review is still a verified one.
The request goes out once per sale, and follows your usual rules: it isn't sent to customers who unsubscribed or are on your blocklist, or when the review request email is switched off in Settings ▸ Emails.
In Quoli
Reviews from the QR code show the POS source in Reviews, with their own line in the review's history, and count as POS in Analytics ▸ Review sources. A review that comes in after a request email went out shows Review email, as it would for an online order.
In-store sales get automated requests like any other when they have an email, by your timing in Settings ▸ Collect & publish. With requests sent after delivery, a sale handed over at the counter counts as delivered at the sale; an in-store sale shipped to the customer waits for its delivery, like an online order.
💡 Tip: Ask while the customer is still at the counter. A quick "Would you scan this and tell us how you like it?" as you hand over the bag gets far more reviews than an email days later.
