What's waiting

The Pending view with its parts numbered

➀ Pending. Reviews waiting for your approval, with their count. Awaiting confirmation holds on-site reviews whose writers haven't confirmed their email yet.

➁ Filters. Narrow the queue to one product, as here, or by rating, photos, verified buyers or date.

➂ Pending. The badge on every review that isn't live yet.

➃ Publish, Reply and Archive. Decide right from the list.

Home counts them in Needs attention, and Settings ▸ General ▸ Notifications can email you each new review.

Publish or archive

You click

What happens

Publish

The review goes live on your store within a minute, and its product's star rating updates. If you use them, the Shop app and Flow's Review published trigger get it too.

Archive

The review stays off your store and moves to Archived, where you can still read it.

Publish, on an archived review

It goes live again.

Reply

Answer before you decide. A public reply shows under the review once it's live.

Each change goes in the review's timeline, with who made it and when. Reviews rejected in an earlier version of Quoli show Rejected: publish or archive them like any other.

Work through the queue

  1. Open Pending, and narrow it with a filter if you like.

  2. Click the first review to open it.

  3. Read it, then click Publish and next, or Archive. The next waiting review opens.

Previous steps back, and the count at the bottom shows where you are. To decide on many at once, tick them and use the bar above the list, as Find your way around Reviews shows.

Why a review is waiting

It waits because

Where it's set

Its rating is below your rating rule, or Skip approval is off for on-site reviews

QI held it: its timeline says "QI held this review for your approval because of its wording"

The QI confidence check, in the same article

QI couldn't check it, so it waits to be safe

The same check

A review awaiting confirmation can go live before its writer confirms: click Publish on it.

Low ratings

Publish them too. A page of only 5 star reviews reads as filtered, and shoppers trust a store that shows its critics. Reply first, fix what went wrong, then ask the customer to update their review. Archive only what doesn't belong: spam, abuse, or a review of the wrong product.

💡 Tip: Reply to a low rating before you publish it. Shoppers then read the problem and your answer together.
