✅ Approve, Reject & Moderate Reviews

Learn how to approve, reject, and moderate customer reviews to keep your storefront trustworthy and fresh.

Updated today

Moderating reviews ensures your storefront shows authentic, helpful feedback while filtering out spam or inappropriate content. Quoli gives you full control over what goes live — manually or automatically.

Manually approve or reject reviews

  1. Open Quoli → Reviews → Manage Reviews.

  2. Click the Pending tab to see reviews waiting for moderation.

  3. For each review, click Approve (✓) to publish it or Reject (✗) to archive it.

💡 Pro Tip: Rejected reviews move to your Archive — they're hidden from shoppers but you can always restore them later.

Set up auto-publish

Auto-publish lets Quoli automatically approve reviews that meet your criteria, so you don't have to moderate every single one manually.

  1. Go to Quoli → Collect Reviews → Collect & publish on autopilot.

  2. Toggle on Auto-publish reviews.

  3. Set your minimum star rating threshold (e.g., auto-publish 4★ and above).

  4. Click Save.

⚠️ Heads up: Even with auto-publish enabled, you should still check your Published tab periodically to catch anything that slips through.

Bulk moderation

Got a backlog of pending reviews? Use bulk actions:

  1. In the Pending tab, check the boxes next to reviews you want to approve.

  2. Click the Bulk Actions dropdown at the top.

  3. Select Approve Selected or Archive Selected.

Archive and restore reviews

Archiving hides a review from your storefront without permanently deleting it.

  • To archive: Click the archive icon on any published or pending review.

  • To restore: Go to the Archived tab, find the review, and click Approve to re-publish it.

When to reject or archive

  • Spam or fake reviews — Reject immediately.

  • Inappropriate language — Archive and consider replying privately.

  • Wrong product — Archive and reach out to the customer to collect the review for the correct product.

  • Outdated reviews — Archive reviews about discontinued products or resolved issues.

💡 Pro Tip: Don't reject negative reviews just because they're critical. Authentic negative reviews (with your thoughtful reply) actually increase trust and conversion rates.
