πŸ“§ Email Settings

Configure your sender name, reply-to address, custom sender domain, and product blocklist for Quoli's automated review request emails.

Updated today

Quoli's email settings let you control how your automated review request emails look and who they come from. A well-configured sender setup improves deliverability, builds brand trust, and ensures replies land in the right inbox.

All email settings are managed from Quoli Dashboard β†’ Settings β†’ General β†’ Email Settings.

Sender Name

The "From Name" is what customers see as the sender when they receive a review request email. Set it to your brand name (e.g., "The Friendly Patch") or something personal like "The Friendly Patch Team."

A recognizable sender name increases open rates because customers trust emails from brands they've bought from.

Reply-To Address

Set the email address where customer replies are routed. Common choices include [email protected] or [email protected]. This keeps review-related replies organized and ensures your team can respond promptly.

Custom Sender Domain

By default, Quoli emails are sent from Quoli's domain. To send emails from your own domain (e.g., [email protected]), you can set up a custom sender domain. This improves deliverability and reinforces brand trust.

To set up: Select or add your custom domain in the Email Settings. Quoli will provide DNS records (SPF, DKIM) that you need to add to your domain's DNS settings. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete authentication.

πŸ’‘ Pro Tip: Custom sender domains are available on the Unlimited plan. If you need help with DNS setup, reach out to [email protected] β€” we'll walk you through it.

Product Blocklist

Prevent specific products from triggering review request emails. This is useful for test products, samples, gift cards, or any SKU where asking for a review doesn't make sense.

Step 1: In Email Settings, find the Product Blocklist section.

Step 2: Click Add Products and search for the products you want to exclude.

Step 3: Save β€” those products will no longer trigger automated review request emails.

Troubleshooting

Emails going to spam: If you're using a custom sender domain, verify that SPF and DKIM records are correctly configured. Use a tool like MXToolbox to check your DNS records.

Replies not reaching your team: Double-check the Reply-To address in Email Settings. Make sure it's a monitored inbox that your team actively checks.

Product still triggering emails after blocklisting: Orders placed before adding the product to the blocklist may still have pending emails. The blocklist only applies to future orders.
