📮 Email sender and blocklist

Who your shopper emails come from: the from name, the reply-to address, the email language, sending from your own address, and the blocklist of people who never get an email.

Shoppers decide whether to open an email by who it's from. Set the name they know, where their replies go, and your own address if you have one. And keep wholesale buyers, test accounts and anyone who asked out of every email.

Plans

Every plan. Sending from your own address needs Starter and up.

Sender identity

Sender identity with its parts numbered

➀ From name and Reply-to address. The name shoppers see as the sender, and where their replies go. Left empty, the from name is your store's name and replies go to your store's customer email.

➁ Email language. The language of Quoli's wording in shopper emails, where Quoli has it translated. Otherwise it goes out in English.

➂ Branded sender email. Send from your own address instead of Quoli's.

Without your own address, emails come from a Quoli address with your store's name, and your from name and reply-to still apply. These fields save with the save bar.

Send from your own address

Send from your own address
  1. Click Connect address and enter an address on your own domain, such as [email protected].

  2. Click Send verification email. Amazon Web Services, which sends Quoli's email, emails that address a confirmation link.

  3. Open the email and click the link within 24 hours. The card then says Sending from your address.

No DNS changes are needed. Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and other free mailboxes can't be used: they send email for your store to spam. If the link expires, Resend email sends a new one, and Check again looks for your confirmation. Remove goes back to Quoli's address. An address another store already uses can't be connected.

Email blocklist

The Email blocklist with its parts numbered

➀ Add addresses. Paste one address or a list, separated by commas, spaces or new lines.

➁ Blocked addresses. Each with an × to unblock it.

Block email addresses

A blocked address gets no shopper email at all: no requests, reminders, discount codes or replies. Review requests already waiting for it are closed, and don't go out if you unblock it later. Your own alerts and test emails aren't affected. The blocklist takes full addresses only, not whole domains.

💡 Tip: Use your brand's name as the from name, not a person's. Shoppers recognize "Dewlane Skincare" from their order confirmation, and recognized senders get opened.
