πŸ“ Customize Your Review Collection Form (RCF)

Build a branded, high-converting review form that collects star ratings, photos, videos, and custom attributes from your customers.

Updated this week

Your Review Collection Form (RCF) is what customers see when they submit a review. A well-designed form collects richer feedback, more photos, and higher completion rates. Quoli gives you full control over branding, fields, and layout.

Before you start

  • Make sure you've completed Quoli onboarding.

  • Have your brand colors and logo ready for customization.

Access the Review Collection Form

  1. Open Quoli from your Shopify admin.

  2. Click Reviews in the left menu.

  3. Select the Collect Reviews tab at the top.

  4. Click Review collection form (RCF) in the left panel.

Brand your form

The branding section lets you match the form to your store's look and feel:

  • Logo β€” upload your store logo to appear at the top of the form.

  • Background color β€” set the form's background to match your brand palette.

  • Font color β€” choose a text color that's readable against your background.

  • Selection button color β€” customize the color of interactive buttons.

  • Selection font color β€” adjust the text inside buttons.

  • Tooltip color β€” set the color of helper tooltips throughout the form.

Customize form content

  • Title β€” the headline your customers see (e.g., "How was your experience?").

  • Description β€” a short prompt encouraging customers to share their feedback.

Review fields

These are the fields your customers fill out when submitting a review:

  • Product name β€” auto-populated with the product being reviewed.

  • Star rating β€” 1 to 5 star rating selector.

  • Photo/video upload β€” lets customers attach images or videos. You can incentivize this with a discount (see Discounts & Rewards).

  • Review title β€” a short headline for the review.

  • Review description β€” the main review text (up to 500 characters).

  • Recommendation β€” a simple Yes/No toggle ("Would you recommend this product?").

Custom attributes

Add custom fields to collect specific feedback relevant to your products:

  • Range attributes β€” sliders for things like quality, value, or comfort.

  • Multiple selection β€” checkboxes for multi-answer questions (e.g., "What did you like? Taste, Texture, Packaging").

  • Single selection β€” radio buttons for single-answer questions.

  • Dropdown β€” a dropdown menu for compact option lists.

To learn more about setting up attributes, see Collect Product & Customer Attributes.

Customer information

  • First name & last name β€” identifies the reviewer.

  • Email β€” used for follow-ups, discount delivery, and verification.

πŸ’‘ Pro Tip: Keep your form short and focused. The fewer fields you require, the higher your completion rate. Start with star rating, review text, and photo upload β€” then add custom attributes once you're getting a steady flow of reviews.

Best practices

  • Match your brand β€” a branded form feels like part of your store, not a third-party popup. Upload your logo and use your exact brand colors.

  • Incentivize media β€” offer a bigger discount for photo/video reviews vs. text-only. Visual reviews convert 2–3x better for future shoppers.

  • Write a compelling title β€” instead of "Leave a review," try something like "Tell us about your experience" or "How did you like it?"

  • Test on mobile β€” most review submissions come from phones. Make sure your branding looks good on smaller screens.

  • Use range attributes wisely β€” for apparel, add "Fit" (Runs Small β†’ Runs Large). For food, add "Taste" (Poor β†’ Excellent). These show up as visual data on your product pages.
