🛡️ Trust Bar

Your store's rating in one full-width line, a trust badge for your home page or footer: what it shows, what a click does, every block setting and the code.

The Trust Bar puts your store's overall rating in one line across the page: the stars, then "Rated 4.5/5 based on 613 reviews", and Verified with the Quoli mark. It suits the top of your home page or your footer.

Shows on: Your home page, footer or any page

Add it from: Settings ▸ Widgets ▸ Trust Bar ▸ Add to theme

Needs: The Quoli Core Script app embed

Plans: Every plan

The Trust Bar with its parts numbered

➀ Your store's rating. The stars, your average and the review count, from every published review: product reviews and store reviews.

➁ Verified. The word Verified and the Quoli mark, which opens How reviews work (below). Show it or hide it, on every plan.

Add it to your theme

  1. In Quoli, open Settings ▸ Widgets and find Trust Bar.

  2. Click Add to theme. Your theme editor opens on your home page with the bar added as a new section.

  3. Drag it where you want it, like just under your header, and click Save. It fits in your footer too: add it there from the theme editor's Add section menu.

The bar stays hidden until your store has its first published review.

What a click does

By default a click opens the Reviews Sidebar on all your reviews, with the same rating and count as the bar.

Clicking the Trust Bar opens the Reviews Sidebar on all 613 reviews, then closing it

Change it under On click in the block.

  • Open reviews sidebar (default). The Reviews Sidebar slides in on all your reviews. It works even if you haven't added the sidebar to your theme.

  • Go to reviews page. Opens the page you enter under Reviews page, usually your All Reviews Page.

  • Not clickable. The bar just shows your rating.

How reviews work

Hover over or tap Verified and a short panel tells shoppers how your reviews work: customers write them, most are requested by email after a purchase, Verified buyer means the review is matched to a real order, and the rating is the average of every published review. It closes when they move away, tap outside it or press Esc. A click anywhere else on the bar still does what On click says.

On phones

When Verified doesn't fit beside your rating, it moves under it, so the rating line is never cut short.

Spacing

  • Top padding, Bottom padding. Space above and below the bar, 0 to 40 px. Default: 20 px each.

Add it with code

On a theme without app blocks, paste the bar in yourself. The code is in Settings ▸ Widgets ▸ Trust Bar ▸ Instructions, with a Copy code button.

<quoli-reputation-badge
  merchant-id="{{ shop.permanent_domain }}"
  api-base="/apps/quoli"
  data-settings='{"display":{"variant":"bar"}}'
></quoli-reputation-badge>

It's the Rating Badge's code with "variant":"bar". Keep the Quoli Core Script app embed on. Pasted code uses the default settings above.

💡 Tip: Put the Trust Bar right under your header on the home page. It's the first thing new visitors read, before they've scrolled to a single product.
