Every review keeps its own history: how it came in, who published it, every reply and request, and what the customer changed later. It's how your team knows what has already been done before anyone acts.

Read the timeline
➀ Day. Newest first: Today, Yesterday, then the date.
➁ Time. In your store's time zone.
➂ Your team. What someone did, with their name, or Your team when it can't tell.
➃ On its own. What your publishing rules or QI's check did.
➄ How it came in. From a review request email, your store, your QR code or review link, or an import.
What it records
When | The timeline says |
It comes in | Submitted, and from where. Imported, from a CSV file or the app it came from. Confirmed by email, for an on-site review. |
It's published or held | Published, by someone or automatically by your publishing rules. Moved to pending, archived or unarchived. Held by QI for its wording, or because QI couldn't check it. |
You reply | Replied publicly or privately, and whether the customer was emailed. The reply edited or deleted. |
You ask the customer | Asked to edit their review, and the request emailed. A photo and video request emailed. |
The customer changes it | Edited their review. Added photos or videos. |
You promote it | Added to or removed from the Home carousel. Pinned or unpinned. A nugget created from it. |
The timeline records changes from 12 October 2026 on. A review from before then still shows how it came in, its replies, and any edit or photo request.
The rest of the popup is in Find your way around Reviews.
💡 Tip: Before you answer an unhappy review, check its timeline. If someone on your team already replied or asked for an edit, you'll see it there, and the customer won't hear from you twice.
