🗳️ Migrate from Reviews.io

Export your reviews from Reviews.io and import the file into Quoli as it is: how products are matched, company reviews as store reviews, and what the export leaves out.

Quoli reads Reviews.io's review export as it is. Product reviews are matched to your products by SKU or name, and company reviews become store reviews.

Where: Reviews ▸ Import / export ▸ Import from Reviews.io

Takes: Reviews.io's review export, unchanged

Plans: Every plan

1. Export from Reviews.io

  1. In your Reviews.io dashboard, go to Settings ▸ Export Reviews.

  2. Choose Product Reviews, the full date range, and ratings from 1 to 5.

  3. Under Format, choose CSV, enter your email and click Export. Reviews.io emails you the file.

For reviews of your store, export again with Company Reviews and import that file too. If Quoli says its columns don't match, import it with Store reviews: map columns yourself. Reviews.io offers the export on some of its plans: if you don't see it, ask Reviews.io's support for your reviews as a CSV file.

2. Import it into Quoli

The Import reviews card with Reviews.io picked, the result, and the job in Recent jobs

➀ Import from. Pick Reviews.io.

➁ The result. Drop the file and the import starts. When it's done, it says how many reviews came in, how many are store reviews, any rows it skipped, and how many reviews had photos, videos or replies it couldn't bring.

➂ Recent jobs. How many of the file's reviews came in, such as 5 of 6.

Quoli reads the export's columns, starting Review ID, Type, Date, Rating, Title, Review. If they were changed, Quoli says These columns don't match the Reviews.io export: export again and import the new file. Dropped it into Generic CSV instead? Quoli recognizes a Reviews.io export by its columns and imports it the Reviews.io way.

How products are matched

Reviews.io's export names each product by its SKU and name, not your store's product ID. Quoli looks for a product variant with the same SKU, then for a product with the same name, with or without the variant part after a "|".

A product review that matches no product is skipped. The job then reads Completed with errors, and its error report lists each skipped row and why. To bring them in, give the product the same SKU in your store, or the same name, and import the file again: the reviews already in are skipped.

What comes across

  • Title, review, rating and date. In Quoli: The same.

  • Reviewer, email and location. In Quoli: The same. The email never shows on your store.

  • Order ID or Verified By. In Quoli: The Verified badge, when either has a value.

  • Type Company. In Quoli: A store review, under Reviews ▸ Store reviews.

  • Status active. In Quoli: Published. Other reviews wait in Reviews as pending.

Left behind: photos, videos and replies. Reviews.io's export only counts them, so add any reply you want to keep again in Reviews. Tags are left behind too.

💡 Tip: Compare a few SKUs in Reviews.io with your store's before you import. Matching SKUs are the surest way for every review to land on the right product.
