📌 Pin and feature your best reviews

Show a review in your Home Carousel, pin it to the top of its product page, do both for many reviews at once, find the ones you've picked, and share a review on social networks.

Your best reviews should be the first ones shoppers read. Feature them on your home page, and pin the most helpful one to the top of its product page.

Turning on Home carousel and Pin to top in a review's popup

Promote a review

The Promote card in the review popup with its parts numbered

➀ Home carousel. Adds the review to the carousel on your home page.

➁ Pin to top. Puts the review first on its product page.

➂ QI suggestion. On a 4 or 5 star review, a line from it you can publish as a nugget in one click. Change line picks another.

➃ Create ad and Share. Turn a 4 or 5 star review into an ad with UGC Ads, or share it.

The buttons on each published review in the list do the same, with a check while they're on. The review then shows In carousel and Pinned next to its stars, and its timeline records who added or removed it, and when.

Feature reviews on your home page

Your picks show in the Home Carousel when its Show setting is Featured. With Most recent, the default, it shows your newest reviews instead.

  1. In your theme editor, select the Home Carousel on your home page.

  2. Under Reviews, set Show to Featured and click Save.

The carousel then shows the reviews you've added, newest first, up to its Reviews to show and from its Minimum rating up. Photo Wall and Video Reel show the ones with photos or videos. The Featured view in Reviews lists the ones shoppers see, your published picks, with their count. A review you add or pin before it's published shows Carousel once published or Pinned once published until then: your store shows published reviews only.

To add new reviews as they arrive, set Add new reviews to carousel to photo or video reviews, text-only reviews or any review, as Choose which reviews go live explains.

Pin a review to the top

A pinned review leading the reviews on a product page, with its Pinned tag

➀ Pinned. A pinned review comes first on its product page, in the PDP Reviews Widget and the Grid Reviews Widget, with this tag.

  • Most recent. Pinned reviews: Come first, with the Pinned tag.

  • Most useful, Highest rated, Lowest rated or Oldest. Pinned reviews: Take their usual place, without the tag.

  • The All Reviews page and widgets for your whole store. Pinned reviews: Take their usual place: a pin belongs to its product's page.

Product pages open on Most recent unless you change the block's Default sort (Sort in the Grid), so keep it there for your pins to lead. You can pin more than one review on a product: they all come first, newest first.

Many at once

Tick reviews in the list, then use the bar above it: Add to carousel, Remove from carousel, Pin and Unpin show when they apply to the reviews you've ticked. Find your way around Reviews shows the bar.

Unpin or remove from the carousel

Turn its switch off in the popup, or click its button in the list again. Archive a review and it leaves your store, carousel and pin included.

Share a review

Click Share on a published review, in the list or in its popup, and pick where it goes:

  • Facebook and LinkedIn. The link to the review on its product page.

  • X and WhatsApp. The review's stars and words, who reviewed what, and the link.

  • Pinterest. The review's first photo, or your product's photo, with its words. It shows when there's a photo to pin.

  • Instagram. Quoli saves a square image of the review, copies its caption and opens Instagram, ready for you to post both.

  • Copy link and Copy text. The link, or the review written out as a post, to paste anywhere.

A store review's link goes to your store's home page.

💡 Tip: Pin the review that answers what shoppers ask most about the product, such as fit or how soon it works, ideally with a photo. A detailed 4 star review often does more than a short 5 star one.
