Home Carousel

One block, eight homepage styles, from review cards to video reels.

The Home Carousel brings your reviews to the homepage, where first impressions happen. It is one block with eight interchangeable styles, so you can change the entire look from a single dropdown without re-placing anything.

Add it

  1. Open Settings, then Widgets.

  2. Pick the carousel style you like. All eight cards lead to the same block.

  3. Click Open in theme editor. The block lands on your homepage.

  4. Save the theme.

The eight styles

Switch anytime with the Carousel style setting:

  • Review Cards. A swipeable row of cards with photo, rating, and quote. The classic.

  • Spotlight. One large testimonial at a time, auto-rotating. Calm and editorial.

  • Photo Wall. A row of square customer photo and video tiles. Pure UGC.

  • Video Reel. Vertical autoplaying video tiles, reels style. For video-rich brands.

  • Quote Ticker. A continuous marquee of one-line quotes. Subtle, works site-wide.

  • Minimal Quotes. Clean text-only cards, no media. For minimal themes.

  • Media Collage. A packed two-row wall of mixed media and text. Dense and lively.

  • Big Quote + Photo. A large photo beside a large quote, auto-rotating. Maximum drama.

Control what plays

  • Source. Most recent reviews, or only the ones you have featured. You can also auto-add reviews here from your publish rules in Collect & publish.

  • Content. Text and media, photo or video only, video only, or text only, plus a minimum rating and how many reviews to show.

  • Motion. Auto-rotate on or off and the speed per slide.

  • Cards. Toggles for stars, name, verified badge, date, and product name, plus your colors.

An optional rating summary above the carousel adds your store-wide average and count, and tapping any item opens the full review detail.

šŸ’” Tip: Match the style to your catalog. Photo Wall and Media Collage need a healthy media library, Minimal Quotes and Quote Ticker shine with sharp one-liners. If you are between two, try each for a week, switching takes one click and your settings carry over.
