Updated over 6 months ago

This section allows you to schedule and automate the collection and publishing of reviews from your customers after they have made a purchase. Here's a detailed explanation of each field and option available:

  1. Send Email

    • Description: This field sets the timing for when the initial review request email will be sent to the customer.

    • Options: Days (Never - 70 days)

    • Explanation: You can specify the number of days after a specific event (like fulfillment or order completion) when the first review request email should be sent. For example, if set to "14 days," the email will be sent 14 days after the chosen event.

  2. After

    • Description: Determines the trigger event that starts the countdown for sending the review request email.

    • Options: Purchase, Fulfilment, Delivery etc.

    • Explanation: This setting specifies the event after which the countdown for the review request email begins. If you select "Fulfillment," the timer starts when the order is marked as fulfilled. This ensures that the review request is sent at a time when the customer has likely received and used the product.

  3. Review Request Reminder

    • Description: This setting enables or disables a follow-up reminder email if the initial review request is not completed by the customer.

    • Options: Enabled, Disabled.

    • Explanation: If enabled, a reminder email will be sent to the customer if they do not respond to the initial review request. This helps in nudging customers to leave a review, increasing the chances of getting feedback.

  4. Send After

    • Description: Sets the timing for when the reminder email will be sent after the initial review request.

    • Options: Days (1 - 14 days)

    • Explanation: You can specify the number of days after the initial review request when the reminder email should be sent. For instance, if set to "2 days," the reminder will be sent two days after the first email if no review has been submitted.

  5. Auto-Publish New Reviews

    • Description: This setting controls which reviews are automatically published without requiring further moderation.

    • Options: (All reviews, 5 stars only, 4 stars & above, 3 stars & above, Never)

    • Explanation: You can choose to automatically publish reviews that meet or exceed a certain star rating threshold. For example, if set to "4 stars & above," only reviews rated 4 stars or higher will be auto-published. This ensures that high-quality reviews are visible immediately, enhancing the credibility of your products.

By configuring these settings, merchants can streamline the process of collecting and publishing customer reviews, ensuring timely feedback and improving the overall customer experience. This automation helps in maintaining a steady flow of reviews, which can significantly enhance your brand's social proof.
