📡 AI discovery: let AI assistants read your reviews

How Quoli puts your reviews and answered questions into every product page so ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and search engines can read them: what's added, when it updates, keeping a question out, and how to check a page.

When a shopper asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity which product to buy, the assistant reads product pages to answer. Most of them read a page without running its scripts, so they miss reviews that widgets draw on the page. AI discovery puts each product's newest reviews and answered questions into the page itself, in a form they can read. It's on for every store from the start, with nothing to set up.

Where: Settings ▸ General ▸ AI discovery

Needs: The Quoli Core Script app embed on, and a published review or answered question on the product

Plans: Every plan

What AI assistants get

  • Reviews. Up to 10 of the product's newest published reviews with text, pinned reviews first: the star rating, the title and the text (a long review is shortened), the reviewer's name the way your store shows it, the date, and the Verified buyer and Incentivized review labels.

  • Questions. Up to 10 of the product's answered questions, as its FAQ.

  • The big picture. The product's average rating and review count, and its review summary on plans with AI review summaries, once one has been written.

Nothing private goes in: no emails, no pending or archived reviews, and no surnames when your store hides them (Settings ▸ General ▸ Review display). Products in a group get the group's reviews, as in your widgets.

How it shows on the page

The Quoli Core Script adds it to each product page twice: as structured data (the product's reviews and an FAQ, the format search engines read), and as plain text hidden from view. Your page looks exactly the same, and nothing moves as it loads. The review structured data follows Show ratings in search results in the Core Script's settings in your theme editor.

The AI discovery card

The AI discovery card in Settings, General, with its parts numbered

➀ The switch. On for every store. Turn it off and product pages stop including your reviews for AI assistants straight away. Turn it back on and every product updates.

➁ Status. How many products are ready for AI assistants, and when they last updated.

➂ Update now. Updates every product at once, for example after a big import. It shows its progress, and how many products updated when it's done.

You rarely need Update now: a product updates on its own whenever its reviews or answers change, and every product updates when you change how customer names show.

Keep a question out of the FAQ

Two answered questions in Questions: one with Leave out of FAQ, one marked Not in FAQ with Add to FAQ

➀ Leave out of FAQ. On every answered question in Questions. The question and its answer stay on your store, and AI assistants and search engines don't get them in the product's FAQ.

➁ Not in FAQ. Shows on a question you left out.

➂ Add to FAQ. Puts it back.

Check a product page

  1. Open a product page that has reviews, and view its source.

  2. Search the source for data-quoli-ai. You'll find the product's reviews and answers there.

  3. If nothing's found, check that the Quoli Core Script app embed is on in your theme editor, that AI discovery is on, and that the product has a published review with text or an answered question.

AI assistants and search engines decide what to read and show, and it can take a few weeks before they visit your pages again.

💡 Tip: Answer your shoppers' questions. Every answer becomes part of the product's FAQ, the questions AI assistants are asked every day.
