Answer customer questions

Manage pre-purchase questions, with QI drafting answers on Unlimited.

Every unanswered question is a sale on pause. The Questions page collects everything shoppers ask on your product pages and gets you to a published answer fast, because fast answers on pre-purchase questions are one of the most reliable conversion lifts there is.

Open Questions from the sidebar.

Read the room first

Four cards at the top keep you honest: total questions, pending answers, answered, and your average response time. Under 24 hours is excellent, and the median is what counts, so one slow answer will not hide a fast habit.

Answer a question

  1. Open the Pending tab.

  2. Click Write an answer on a question.

  3. Type your reply. Stay concrete and specific.

  4. Click Publish answer. It goes live on the product page immediately.

Published answers can be revised anytime with Edit answer, and questions you do not want shown can be archived and restored later.

Let QI draft it

On Unlimited, click Generate QI answer and QI writes a draft from the product context and your store's history. The composer marks it clearly: answered by QI, edit before publishing, you have the final say. Published QI drafts carry a small QI answer badge in your admin, so you always know which answers had help. Each draft uses one QI action.

Find what needs you

Filter by product and date range, sort with Pending first, or search question text and asker names. The status tabs split everything into All, Pending, Answered, and Archived.

šŸ’” Tip: Answers outlive the asker. Write each one for the next hundred shoppers who will read it on the product page, not just the one person who asked. Specifics like dimensions, materials, and compatibility do the selling.
