Import reviews from a CSV

Bring reviews in from any file or app export, with results delivered by email.

Your reviews should follow you. The import wizard brings them in from a plain CSV or directly from another app's export, maps the columns for you, and emails you the results when it is done. Five guided steps, no spreadsheet surgery.

Open Reviews, then Import & Export, and click Import reviews.

Step 1: Choose source and upload file

Pick where your reviews come from. Generic CSV file works for anything, and there are ready-made mappings for Loox, Judge.me, Yotpo, Stamped.io, Junip, Reviews.io, Fera, Growave, and AliExpress. Drop your file in, or click Download template for a starting file and Download sample to see example data.

Switching apps entirely? The step-by-step export guides live in the Migration collection, one per app.

Step 2: Map columns

Quoli matches your file's columns to review fields: rating, text, customer name and email, product, date, and media. App exports map automatically. For a generic CSV, confirm or adjust each column once and you are through.

Step 3: Validate sample rows

Click Validate sample and Quoli checks your data before anything is written: valid rows, warnings, and errors, each explained. Fix what needs fixing in the file, re-upload, and validate again. Nothing imports until you say so.

Step 4: Confirm import details

Review the summary, enter your email under Notify when done, and click Start import. Results arrive by email when complete, so you can close the tab on big files.

Step 5: Import running

A progress bar tracks the run. When it finishes, your reviews are in Manage reviews wearing the Imported source badge, ready for a quick spot-check. Products match by handle or ID, so the rare unmatched review usually points to a product that changed since the export.

šŸ’” Tip: Import as soon as you export from the old app. Media in export files is linked by URL, and those links can expire once the old account closes.
