Offering a small reward for reviews is one of the most effective ways to increase submission rates. Quoli's rewards engine lets you offer different discount levels for text, photo, and video reviews β€” so you can incentivize the type of content that converts best.

Set up review rewards

  1. Open Quoli from your Shopify admin.

  2. Click Reviews in the left menu.

  3. Select the Collect Reviews tab at the top.

  4. Click Discounts & rewards in the left panel.

Discount type

Choose how you want to structure your rewards:

  • No discount β€” rewards are disabled.

  • Same discount β€” one discount value for all review types.

  • Variation β€” different discount values for text, photo, and video reviews. This lets you offer higher rewards for richer content.

Set discount values

For each review type (text, photo, video), you can set:

  • Percentage (%) β€” a percentage off the customer's next order (e.g., 10% off).

  • Fixed amount ($) β€” a flat dollar amount off (e.g., $5 off).

πŸ’‘ Pro Tip: A tiered approach works best β€” try 5% for text reviews, 10% for photo reviews, and 15% for video reviews. This encourages customers to go the extra mile with visual content, which converts significantly better for future shoppers.

Additional reward settings

Minimum order value

Set a minimum order value that customers must meet to use their discount code. This protects your margins on small orders.

Discount code type

  • Unique codes β€” each customer gets a unique, single-use code powered by Quoli. More secure and prevents code sharing.

  • Single code β€” all customers receive the same discount code. Simpler but less secure.

Discount code expiry

Set how long the discount code is valid after it's issued (7–14 days, or Never). A shorter expiry creates urgency and drives faster repeat purchases.

Offer discount to

  • On-site & review requests β€” the discount is shown both on your store and in review request emails.

  • Review requests only β€” the discount is only mentioned in email requests.

Discount code reminder

When enabled, Quoli sends a reminder email before a customer's discount code expires. Set how many days before expiry to send it (1–6 days).

Click Save when you're done configuring.
