Questions on your product pages let shoppers ask before they buy, and let your published answers do the selling for everyone who reads them later. One master switch controls the whole surface, so you can launch it when you are ready and pause it without losing anything.
Where the switch lives
Open Questions, then the Import / Export tab.
Find the Questions on your storefront card. The badge shows the current state, Visible or Hidden.
Click Enable on storefront or Disable on storefront.

What the switch actually does
When enabled, customers can see existing questions and ask new ones on every product page, inside the Questions tab of your PDP Reviews Widget. When disabled, that tab hides itself automatically across your whole catalog. No theme edits, no widget settings to hunt down, the widget simply stops showing the tab.
Nothing is deleted either way. Every question and answer stays saved in your admin, ready to relaunch the moment you re-enable.
When to keep it off
Before you can commit to answering. A questions tab with week-old unanswered questions reads worse than no tab at all.
While you seed. Import your FAQ first, then launch with answers already in place. See Import and export questions for that flow.
š” Tip: The strongest launch order: import a dozen of your real support FAQs with answers, enable the storefront switch, then watch the Pending tab daily for the first weeks. Shoppers quickly learn whether asking is worth it on your store.
