Most shoppers won't read fifty reviews, but they will read two lines. What shoppers say puts QI's summary of a product's reviews at the top of your reviews widget, with the topics customers mention most, so a shopper gets the gist before they scroll.

The card
➀ What shoppers say. The start of the summary and the top mentions, each with how many reviews raise it. A click opens the full summary.
The full summary
➀ The summary. What customers say most, in a few sentences, including what a smaller group didn't like.
➁ Sentiment. How many of the reviews read as positive, neutral or negative.
➂ Top mentions. The topics raised most, with their counts. A dash marks a downside.
➃ Summarized from. How many reviews it covers.
Showing a few downsides is on purpose: a summary that's all praise reads like an ad, and shoppers trust one that's honest.
When it's written
QI writes a product's summary the first time a shopper opens its page with 5 or more published reviews. Until then, the card doesn't show.
It reads the product's newest published reviews that have words in them, up to 400.
It writes the summary again once the product has gained a good share of new reviews: 5 more, or 15% more on a busy product.
To hide it on a product page, turn off Show AI summary and sentiments in the widget's block settings in your theme editor. It's on to start.
QI summary lines in Quoli
Reviews, Questions, Nuggets and Analytics each open with a QI summary line: where things stand and what to do next, such as how many unhappy buyers are waiting for a reply. QI builds these lines from the figures on that page, so they always match what you see. They're on the same plans as What shoppers say.
💡 Tip: Read your top products' summaries every few months. When the first thing shoppers mention isn't on your product page, add it: your customers have told you what sells it.
