Once customers submit reviews with attributes, Quoli automatically aggregates and displays that data on your storefront. Shoppers see visual summaries β fit bars, recommendation percentages, and demographic breakdowns β right alongside reviews on your product pages. This helps buyers make confident purchase decisions and reduces returns.
How attribute display works
Attributes flow in two directions within Quoli:
1. Collection β You create attributes (like "How was the fit?" or "Your skin type") and customers fill them out when submitting a review. This is configured in the Attributes tab under Reviews.
2. Display β Quoli aggregates all submitted attribute data and renders it as visual summaries inside your review widget on the product detail page (PDP). No extra setup is needed β once attributes have responses, they appear automatically.
What each attribute type looks like on your storefront
Recommendation (Yes/No)
Displays as a percentage badge, e.g., "92% of reviewers recommend this product." This is one of the most powerful conversion drivers β shoppers trust peer recommendations.
Centre Bar (Slider)
Displays as a visual scale showing where the average falls between two extremes. For example, a fit attribute shows a bar from "Runs Small" to "Runs Large" with a marker at the aggregate position. This is especially effective for apparel, footwear, and any product where sizing matters.
Number Selection (Scale)
Displays as a numeric average with a visual bar, e.g., "Quality: 8.7/10." Useful for attributes like comfort, durability, or value for money.
Multiple Choice / Single Choice / Dropdown
Displays as a percentage breakdown of responses. For example, "Skin Type: Oily 35%, Dry 28%, Combination 22%, Sensitive 15%." This helps shoppers find reviews from people like them.
Where attributes appear
Attribute summaries appear in two places:
Review Widget (PDP) β The main review widget on your product detail page shows aggregated attribute data at the top, above individual reviews. This gives shoppers an instant overview before they start reading.
Individual Reviews β Each review also shows the attribute values that specific reviewer selected (e.g., "Fit: True to size" or "Skin type: Oily"). This adds context to every review.
π‘ Pro Tip: Attributes need a minimum number of responses before the aggregate summary appears on your storefront. The more reviews with attribute data you collect, the more useful and trustworthy the summaries become.
Customize attribute display
You can control how attributes appear in your widgets:
Go to Quoli β Widgets and open your review widget.
In the widget editor, look for the Attributes section.
Toggle individual attributes on or off to control which ones display.
Reorder attributes to prioritize the most important ones at the top.
Best practices for attribute display
Keep it focused β Display 2β3 attributes maximum. Too many data points overwhelm shoppers instead of helping them.
Lead with what matters most β For apparel, put Fit first. For beauty, lead with Skin Type. For food, prioritize Taste. The first attribute gets the most attention.
Use the Recommendation attribute β The "X% recommend this product" badge is one of the highest-converting elements. Consider adding it to every product.
Match attributes to product type β Use Quoli's product-level attribute assignment to show different attributes on different products (e.g., Fit on shoes, Taste on food).
Troubleshooting
Attributes not showing on the storefront?
Make sure the attribute is toggled on in the widget editor.
Confirm that enough reviews with attribute data have been submitted for that product.
Check that your review widget is properly installed on the product page.
Data looks incorrect?
Attribute summaries update in real time as new reviews come in. If you recently changed an attribute's options, older reviews will still show their original selections.
