Understanding the "Reviews" Tab in Customer Profiles
Updated over a week ago

The "Reviews" tab in Customer Profiles provides a comprehensive view of the reviews left by each specific customer. This feature is designed to help merchants manage and analyze customer reviews effectively. Below, we describe each column and feature in detail to help you make the most out of this tool.

Product Information

Each review card starts with the name and image of the product reviewed. This allows merchants to quickly identify which product the review pertains to.

  • Product Name: Clearly displayed at the top of each review card (e.g., "Cooper desk lamp", "Essence Upholstered Bed")

  • Product Image: If the review contains a product image/video, it'll be displayed to the left of the product name.

Review Status

Each review card also includes status indicators:

  • Published: Indicates that the review is visible to the public.

  • Featured: Highlights that the review is a featured review, likely displayed on the store front.

Review Metadata

This section includes essential metadata about the review:

  • Customer Name: The name of the customer who left the review (e.g., "Patrick Diane")

  • Verification Badge: A checkmark icon indicates that the review is from a verified customer.

  • Rating: A star rating system (out of 5 stars) shows the customer's rating for the product.

Review Content

The main body of the review includes:

  • Review Title: A brief title summarizing the review (e.g., "Loved this energy patch").

  • Review Text: The detailed feedback provided by the customer. For example, "I didn't expect to sleep this well with Snoooz, but I do! I look forward to hitting the hay now. Slap it on, kick back, relax and Snoooooooz!"

Interaction Options

At the bottom of each review, merchants have several options to interact with the review:

  • Thumbs Up/Down: Customers can like or dislike the review, providing a quick gauge of its helpfulness.

  • Reply: Merchants can reply directly to the review, allowing for engagement and swift responses.

  • Eye: Hide/Unhide the customer review

  • Create Ads: This feature allows merchants to create social ads, leveraging customer reviews for marketing purposes.

  • Share: An icon to share the review on various platforms.
