Quoli's Q&A feature adds a questions section directly to your product pages. Customers can ask questions, see answers from your team or other buyers, and make more confident purchase decisions — all without leaving the page.

Why add Q&A to product pages?

How Q&A appears on your storefront

Q&A is built into the Product Reviews Widget. When you add the Product Reviews Widget to your product pages, the Q&A tab is included automatically — no separate widget needed.

Customers will see:

  • A Q&A tab alongside the Reviews tab in the Product Reviews Widget.

  • An Ask a Question button to submit new questions.

  • All previously answered questions with responses from your team or other customers.

  • The ability to upvote helpful questions so the most relevant ones rise to the top.

Enable Q&A on product pages

  1. Make sure the Product Reviews Widget is added to your product page template in your Shopify theme.

  2. Go to Quoli → Settings → General.

  3. Under the Q&A section, make sure Q&A is enabled.

  4. Save your settings.

That's it — the Q&A tab will now appear in your Product Reviews Widget on every product page.

💡 Pro Tip: If you don't see the Q&A tab on your storefront, make sure you're using the Product Reviews Widget (not the lightweight Reviews Widget). Only the Product Reviews Widget includes the Q&A tab.

How customers ask questions

  1. A customer visits your product page and clicks the Q&A tab in the Product Reviews Widget.

  2. They click Ask a Question.

  3. They type their question and submit it.

  4. You'll be notified of the new question (if notifications are enabled).

  5. Once you answer, the response appears on the product page for all visitors to see.

Pre-seed questions for new products

Don't wait for customers to ask — add common questions yourself so shoppers find answers immediately.

  1. Go to Quoli → Reviews → Q&A.

  2. Click Create question.

  3. Type the question (e.g., "What sizes does this come in?").

  4. Select the product the question applies to.

  5. Check Add an answer and type your response.

  6. Click Submit.

💡 Pro Tip: Pre-seed 3–5 common questions per product — things like sizing, materials, shipping time, and care instructions. This dramatically reduces repetitive support emails and helps shoppers buy with confidence.

Best practices for storefront Q&A

  • Answer questions quickly — The faster you respond, the more likely the customer is to complete their purchase.

  • Be specific — Instead of "Yes," say "Yes, this comes in sizes S through XXL and runs true to size."

  • Link to relevant pages — If a question relates to your shipping or return policy, include a link in your answer.

  • Pre-seed your top products first — Focus on your best sellers and new arrivals where Q&A has the most impact.
