Placement rules decide how your nuggets reach shoppers: whether the Nuggets Slider is on your product pages, how many nuggets each page shows, and which come first.
Where: Nuggets ▸ Placement rules, in the title bar
Default: The 5 newest nuggets on each product page
Plans: Growth and up
The popup
➀ Nuggets Slider. Whether it's on your live theme. On your theme comes with Manage in theme editor. Not on your theme comes with Add to theme, which opens your product page in the theme editor with the slider ready to place: click Save there.
➁ Most nuggets per product. 1 to 12, or Unlimited. A product page shows up to this many of its own published nuggets, one at a time in the slider.
➂ Order. Newest first leads with the latest nuggets you published. Manual order follows the order you arrange for each product, as below.
Click Save, and your product pages follow the new rules. Cancel closes the popup without changing anything.
What shows on a product page
Only published nuggets from that product's reviews. Drafts and archived nuggets never show.
A product with fewer nuggets than the most you set shows all it has. One with none shows no slider.
Unlimited shows every published nugget a product has, up to 100.
In the theme editor, the slider can also show only nuggets from reviews with a photo or video, as Nuggets Slider explains.
Arrange the order by hand
With Order set to Manual order, you choose which nugget each product page shows first. Click Arrange order on any published nugget, and the popup lists that product's published nuggets in the order shoppers see them.
➀ Drag handle. Drag a nugget up or down the list.
➁ Arrows. Or move it one place at a time, which also works from the keyboard.
Click Save, and that product's page shows its nuggets in the new order. Each product keeps its own order. A nugget you publish later shows first until you arrange it again. While the order is still Newest first, the popup says so and offers Open placement rules.
💡 Tip: Keep the most at 5 or fewer. Shoppers read the first two or three lines in a slider, and a short set keeps every line strong. Archive the weaker ones instead of raising the number.
