How It Works
The Google Product Ratings program lets you display real customer reviews for your products on Google Shopping—both in ads and free listings. These star ratings boost trust and can improve your click-through rates across all channels.
Google's Requirements
Google applies strict guidelines before publishing any product reviews:
You must have at least 50 verified product reviews (collected directly via Quoli; imported reviews from other platforms are not included).
Include all reviews, even negative ones, and avoid offensive or spammy content.
Reviews must not contain personal data (e.g., full names, emails, phone numbers).
Reviews must follow copyright laws.
Tip: Only verified reviews collected through Quoli’s own flows are eligible for Google Shopping. For full guidelines, visit the Google Merchant Center Help.
Step-By-Step: Submitting Your Reviews Feed
1. Upload Your Product Feed
Sign in to Google Merchant Center (requires a Google account).
Manually upload a product feed or use third-party apps to sync products.
Wait ~10 business days for Google to approve products.
2. Sign Up for Product Ratings
In Merchant Center, complete the Product Ratings Application.
When asked about working with a third-party aggregator, select Quoli
3. Confirm Quoli as Your Aggregator
After submitting, Google may email you stating Quoli isn’t yet an approved aggregator, and you’ll need to submit your own direct Product Ratings feed.
Reply confirming you will submit a direct product reviews feed.
Once approved, you’ll see a Product Reviews tab in Merchant Center.
Step 4: Generate and Upload Review Feed
In Quoli, go to Settings > Integration > Google Shopping.
Click Sync Reviews to generate your direct feed URL.
Copy this URL for the next step.
In Merchant Center, navigate to Marketing > Product Reviews > Product Reviews Feeds.
Click the + button to add a new feed.
Paste your Quoli review feed link.
5. Wait for Google Review
Google will manually review your feed—this usually takes 2-4 weeks.
Watch for confirmation from Google stating your reviews are accepted and live.
6. Troubleshoot as Needed
Check the Product Reviews tab for status updates and any reviews that aren’t yet approved.
If your reviews are not displaying after a successful sync, contact Google Shopping support and share their response with Quoli Support if further help is needed.
Note: The process can take 2–6 weeks depending on Google’s review time.
Troubleshooting & Support
Reviews must include correct identifiers (GTIN strongly recommended, but SKU, Brand, MPN, or product URL can work with less reliability).
Mismatched or incomplete data may delay or block display of star ratings.
Google will only show reviews it considers accurate and relevant.
If you have issues with the Google Shopping review display, first contact Google support with your Merchant Center account and review feed details. If they request changes on the Quoli side, contact [email protected] with the full context.
