The Shopify Flow integration lets you automate business tasks using review-based triggers from Quoli. When a customer submits a review, Flow can automatically tag customers, send Slack notifications, apply discounts, update spreadsheets, and more β all without manual effort.
Enabling Shopify Flow
Step 1: Go to Quoli Dashboard β Settings β Integrations β Flow.
Step 2: Click Turn on to enable Shopify Flow triggers.
Once enabled, Quoli's triggers will appear in Shopify Flow's trigger library when you create new workflows.
Available Triggers
Quoli provides the following triggers in Shopify Flow:
Review Submitted: Fires when a customer submits a new review. Includes the star rating, review body, reviewer name, product details, and order information.
Review Published: Fires when a review is approved and published on your storefront.
Each trigger passes detailed data you can use in Flow conditions and actions.
Example Workflows
Auto-tag VIP reviewers. When a customer leaves a 5-star review β Add the "VIP Reviewer" tag to their customer profile. Use this tag for loyalty segments in Klaviyo or Shopify Email.
Slack alerts for negative reviews. When a review with 1-2 stars is submitted β Send a message to your support team's Slack channel with the review details and customer info so you can respond quickly.
Post-review discount rewards. When a review is published β Add a discount code to the customer's profile or send them a reward via Shopify's built-in discount actions.
Photo review bonus. When a review with a photo is submitted β Tag the customer with "Photo Reviewer" and trigger a special thank-you email with an exclusive offer.
Internal tracking. When any review is submitted β Log the review data to a Google Sheet via Flow's Google Sheets connector for reporting and analysis.

Building a Flow Workflow
Step 1: In your Shopify admin, go to Apps β Flow.
Step 2: Click Create workflow.
Step 3: Under "Select a trigger," search for Quoli and choose a trigger (e.g., "Review Submitted").
Step 4: Add conditions (e.g., "Rating is greater than or equal to 4") and actions (e.g., "Add customer tag").
Step 5: Click Turn on workflow to activate it.
Troubleshooting
Quoli triggers not appearing in Flow: Make sure the integration is turned on in Quoli (Settings β Integrations β Flow). If it was just enabled, refresh Shopify Flow and try again.
Workflow not firing: Check that the workflow is turned on (not in draft). Also verify that the review was actually submitted β draft reviews won't trigger the event.
"Shopify Flow not available" error: Flow requires a Shopify, Shopify Advanced, or Shopify Plus plan. If you're on a Basic plan, you won't have access to Flow.
